lol. America elects a democrat after 8 years of Bush and in 3.5 seconds every Republican transforms from an AmeriCAN into an AmeriCAN'T.

Suddenly there's nothing unpatriotic about not supporting your president. Suddenly listening to OBL isn't treasonous.

The laughs keep coming.

Hate to say, I agree with OBL. At least for now. Obama is much like Jimmy Carter in that he controls power that he is unwilling to use. Unlike Carter, Obama actually has appeared to be repulsed by military power and the assessment that he would be unwilling to employ a power he detests is conducive with the man's past words and current words.

Having the world's most powerful military at your command is meaningless when you are not willing to tell it to act.

At the eve of WW2 it was France that had the world's most powerful military yet they were defeated by a lesser power because the French could not commit to action.

Despite all of our technology the US is only as powerful as our President is willing to let it be.

Didn't Obama give the go ahead to the surge in Afghanistan?

Say what you will. There were no further attacks on the USA after 9/11.

It was 8+ years between 9/11 and the previous attack. This proves nothing. But then you probably know that.

Yeah like not sending enough troops to either Iraq or Afghanistan for 6 years. Suddenly after years of generals begging for more troops Bush finally decides on "The Surge". A great way to sound like it was his bright idea.

I thought Mr. Bush showed the world that that cource of action don't work.

I'm sorry I missed the devastating terrorist attack that took place on the US after 9/11. When and where was that, please?

True, no devastating terrorist attack. Mind you, 4000 plus dead US soldiers, triple that for casualties, and umpteen billion spent on two wars which have yet to secure US objectives for national and international security seven years on.

Success isn't simply measured by the lack of buildings blown up on US soil.
