Proculation Proculation:

.08 is the legal limit, that is the point where science has deemed that someone is impared enough that their reations, thought process and decisions are not up to par, I want no one on the roads with a level of .08.
I myself will not drive after 2 drinks, I'll take a cab, call a friend or my wife or take a bus, it's not worth it. The kid that killed my friend tested at .09

I do not say that I didnt deserve it. I say that driving WAY OVER the limit should be worse. I'm not in the same category than him. Never. But what I had says so.

See that the problem Proc, the accepted standard is that you wait 2 hours for every drink you consume, so 1) either stop drinking 2 hours before you leave or 2) wait 2 hours after your last drink before driving.
I'm saying an 18 year old kid killed my 16 year old friend and his brethalizer only measured him at .09 which according to you isn't too drunk to drive.
The acceptabe limit is 0

I understand that. Drinking and driving is wrong. But driving while drunk after 18 arrests, that's much worse. I just say that a guy completly drunk is much more dangerous than a guy getting out of a restaurant. Right now, it's the same offence.

Neither one of them should ever be allowed to drive again.
I do see what your saying, the 18 convictions with a death and numerous injuries is a dangerous offender, the guy leaving a bar right now isn't (until he kills someone, and it's possible he will right now).
Fact is they estimate that 1 in 3 drivers on the road is under the influence, those #'s are scarey and totally unacceptable.
