If people can see you it doesn't matter if you're in your own yard.

Of course they can. If they take the effort to look through the shrubs... People can look into my house too if they want too (walk into my yard, peek through the window...) Does that mean I have to close every curtain before I dance around naked? Even when it is not visible from the street?

(seriously, these are rules I don't know nothing about...)

While I do not have an issue with breastfeeding, the woman should have been aware of Facebook's policy and be willing to follow their guidelines for pictures. She signed the user agreement, whether she read it or not, so she shouldn't fuss. If she wants to share that kind of photo with her friends/family, she can do so through e-mail. Even though Facebook doesn't use the word nudity in their policy, they do state to not upload anything that might be found objectionable.

Even though I do not find it offensive, there are others out there that do. I applaud Facebook for keeping their site realitively clean compaired to other social gathering spots. It is one site that I do not have to worry about if my kids happen to be looking over my shoulder.

Being a father of two (and soon to be four), I totally symathise with the plight of women trying to breastfeed without harrassment. We've had our issues with establishments before and will probably do so again. However, I have yet to see a business with a "No Breastfeeding" sign in the window. If there was one and we were confronted, we wouldn't have any grounds to argume.
