It is a sad day, but only time will tell if it is the right move for them or if it will led to a Conservative majority.

No. This is the beginning of the end of Harper's divide and conquer politics, and not a day too soon.

This coming from a union hack / socialist. You must be frothing at the mouth waiting for more unneeded social handouts.

So let me get this straight - a coalition government of nearly 20 less seats with a leader who lead the Liberal party to one of the worst results ever and whose central plank was overwhelmingly rejected by Canadians (remember the NDP opposed the Green Shift) and who is no longer wanted by his own party is going to be the PM of Canada?

Lei parla italiano?

BTW, once again the Liberal Party of Ontario and Points East, er I'm sorry, "Canada," works against the democratic wishes of Western Canada.

Surprise, surprise.

SigPig SigPig:
I find it humorous that during the election the Libs were all over the NDP for how terrible their economic plan was. Now, six weeks later, he we are and they are willing to topple to Cons for their economic plan and feel the NDP are now good enough to form a coalition with. Using the Bloc to boot.

It is absolutely ridiculous as far as I am concerned. Do they really think the Bloc won't start making demands at some point down the road? Simply one of the worst ideas I have heard in a while.

A coalition would be fine, if they had campaigned on it. But they didn't, and they lost. If they want to topple the government do it and lets go back to the polls.

I agree.

If its a vote of nonconfidence on the budget, let's have an election.

I heard today that Dion Sr. committed suicide when his son joined the sepratists, or did he just fall in the bath tube?

Worst day on our stock market in many years.

Let's have as many elections as we have to untill the losers get the picture.
