And if the Tories had someone a bit more moderate from Ontario as leader, they'd win 200 seats.
So we can wish all the scenarios we want, but we fight only the election that's before us.
Besides, it was pretty telling when the Natural Governing Party couldn't get anyone important to run for the leadership. When you pick as your leader of a party that has ruled Canada for almost 100 years a knap-sacking toting intellectual without a drivers license from Quebec who can't get votes in the West or his home province, and he's the best choice given that the other candidates were a former NDP leader who presided over a disastrous one term as premier of Ontario and another guy who didn't even live in the country for 25 years that most people hadn't heard of, its pretty clear that Canadians want the Liberal party out.
