One of the bloggers had it pegged that Canadians could never be guilty of crimes in foreign lands because we're so nice and polite.

Got a fellow Canadian in prison over here for smuggling drugs. He was stashing them in school books. Mostly E but he also smuggled coke, pot and Vitamin K. He was supposedly the ring leader and got 15 years for his part. The prosecution was looking for the death penalty initially.

and if that's the punishment for the crime in that country then thats what he should get
