I've been playing with gold and silver for the last few years, and haven't had any problems buying or selling either. Any coin dealer should be able to handle all transactions, the best place in the Lower Mainland is J&M on Broadway.

Well the graph shows that gold is a crappy long-term investment. I mean we hit a peak not too long ago but it crashed down right after.

I would still head in the more speculative stock market (Just waiting for the economy to be at it's lowest point). Over 20 years they always gain value (if they don't die) and often those companies pay dividend, which you can reinvest.
