President Trump’s job approval rating has spiked 10 points over the last month and Republicans have erased a double-digit deficit in the generic ballot for the House, according to a new poll. The survey, conducted by Monmouth University, finds that 42 percent approve of the job Trump is doing, against 50 percent who say they disapprove. The same poll from December found Trump’s job approval at 32 percent, against 56 percent who said they disapproved.

Anyway, the hi-lite of an evening of lowlights was apparently Melania not standing up and doing a barely-interested bit of clapping when dunski started going on about "family and faith and God" and none of the other crap he's even remotely sincere about, or interested in. Martin's already played this card with me. I've been saying what a mediocrity Clinton is since Obama beat her for the nomination back in 2008. And that the only good thing about her is that she's somewhat (not much though) less repulsive in character than Donald Trump. And that the only reason she got the chance in 2016 was from gaming the race in her own benefit and because the party thought it owed her for sticking around for so goddamn long, just like the Liberals did with an embarrassment like Jean Chretien.
