How many of these billionaires are so because of a career in government?
.
Sanders isn't a billionaire, idiot. He earns a reasonable salary as a US Senator and his wife, recently retired, earned similar as an executive at a university. Neither salary is outrageous and they are certainly sufficient to purchase a second home in yhr national capital, as most politicians do. The third home as I mentioned was bought with inherited assets.
The following was your statement: And considering that so many Republicans are millionaires and billionaires that each hold numerous million dollar estates, what is your complaint anyway?[/quote]
You go off on such an ideological rant that you don't even know what you typed. I am not complaining about billionaire leaders, are you? I asked you succinctly how many of these billionaires made their money from government. I didn't say Sanders was a billionaire. His policies and ideas are right out of the Marxist playbook. Which would make it more difficult for people to own one home let alone three. Furthermore, if he had his way inheritance would be taxed at a much higher rate.
If you dislike someone and reject someones qualifications based on the premise that they are billionaires, that's on you, don't project it on me and confuse the conversation. In my opinion billionaires have a far greater level of worldly business experience and are less beholden to others than someone who relies on their political career for their sustenance.
Hey, let's just throw out some names and anger, why let facts get in the way of a good story.
