Meh, the OHL playoffs are on. You can tune in junior hockey and see guys actually competing instead of the boring Euro-weenie float-fest that the NHL has become. And you can take the whole family to a game, get snacks and a big foam finger without selling a kidney.

And baseball season is a few days away. So fuck the NHL.

Touché. But when it comes to hockey, the OHL is far superior to the NHL anymore. NHL play today is about as competitive as an All-Star Game and as tough as non-contact oldtimers' hockey. Don Cherry was right about one thing: it's all been downhill since the Europeans invaded the NHL.
