My friends in the Public Affairs Bureau said their new offices at the Federal Building are actually a downgrade from their current digs. They told me their offices are smaller and the ceilings lower.

I wished they had built the ice rink, but I guess that million dollars or so was just going too far... :lol:

Yes, the offices are 1940 era and haven't been refurbed much. Too small, too low. :(

Funny too, because the building I'm in now is older, but more open than the Fed. But the front entry is Art Deco, and beautifully kept marble and stone! The 'new' front entrance is modeled with the same materials, but kept in a more modern style!

I got a few images, but they are kind of crappy. The story has a video now that is much better than what I took.

I wonder if governance is better if done in a room that costs huge sums of money.

I somehow doubt it.

Looks pretty nice - maybe I'll have to pay a visit to my friends at the PAB one of these days.
