This is one of my favourite pieces of truther "evidence":
$1:
citing buildings falling at “nearly free-fall acceleration”

Gee, from an average height of 1365 ft plus the laws of fluid dynamics kicking in, do ya think?(pardon the exaggeration).

She has obviously spent too much time in BC. Who knew she was a tinfoiler nutbag?

$1:
“I do not agree with petition,” she said. “It is an obligation of an MP to present every petition submitted to them.”

Didn't read the story again JJ?

And believe it or not that's the same excuse the Mayor of Omaha used IIRC when he wanted to tax toilet paper to pay for sewer maintenance.

Somebody else's stupid idea and I, as a good politician just presented it. :P

"Declining to present “9/11 truther” petitions isn’t unprecedented. In October 2012, a group called “ReThink911” said they presented a petition to NDP Foreign Affairs Critic Paul Dewar. According to the group’s website, Dewar refused to submit the petition to Parliament."

She thought it was important to present the petition... Tinfoiler....nutbag in the closet.

So, Dewar didn't do his job, and that is OK. But May does her job, and that is wrong?

MPs are there to represent the people that elected them. Good on Ms. May for being objective, ignoring her personal opinions and doing what her constituents ask her to do.

There’s nothing that states that an MP must present every petition given to them. Yeah that’s great some MP’s feel it is there duty to do so but I would certainly hope that they would have the where-with-all to discern from petitions that have some sort of merit to ones that have no merit whatsoever. I would certainly hope that people can see that entertaining bs petitions such as this is nothing more than a waste of time and money and demonstrates a serious disrespect for us as taxpayers. Does Lizzy have nothing better to do? I pretty sure she does but she couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get her face in the paper, its nothing more than a cheap attempt to get some media time and to score some cheap brownie points the fringe crowd. As for her feeling “obligated” to present “every” petition and doing such a good job at representing her constituents? Give me a break if this was a petition supporting mining, pipelines, oil and gas development, or anything of the sort I’m pretty sure ol’ Lizzy would find some reason not to forward it and weasel out of it. Go check her site out, it list the petitions she’s brought forward http://elizabethmaymp.ca/petitions . Looks to me like she’s fairly selective on what petitions she’ll put forward as none of them seem to contradict her usual leanings. Where are all of these petitions she brought forward that she didn’t agree with because she’s such a great MP who’s just doing what her constituents want? What, has she received no petitions that contradict her usual leanings other than this one? Wow, that’s pretty … well unbelievable.
