Democrats prove yet again they're incapable of holding a lead.

Too many Democrats are complete gutless wonders. And they deserve what they're going to get over the next two years if they couldn't bother to show up and vote if they were in some kind of a snit just because President Obama didn't turn out to be the 1960's era mega-liberal they wanted him to be.

Yep!

Rush Limbaugh is saying the Republicans didn't win anything but that voters 'repudiated' the Democrats and Obama. If anyone was going to claim a victory it would be Rush but since he says it is not a victory for the Republicans but just a defeat for the Democrats then the Democrats have a chance to undo this in 2016 if they back off from Obamacare and get strong on Russia and China.

It's surprising Bill Maher doesn't vote Republican considering how scared of Muslims he is.

DanSC DanSC:
John Walsh eventually exits in shame and the Democrats Sarah-Palin it by nominating state representative Amanda Curtis, known for being young, a woman, and not much else.

Unsurprisingly, the Republican Steve Daines won in a landslide.

Too bad, so sad little Demmies.

On the other side, the Republicans had some luck electing pretty, young women, or if you prefer "Sarah Palining" it.

Republican Elise Stefanik has become the youngest woman elected to Congress in history, winning her race against Aaron Woolf in New York’s 21st open district 56-32, ABC News projects.

She’s the first Republican to win the district, which had been held by Democratic Rep. Bill Owens since 1993.

Also there's this smiling little babe.

"She is Saira Blair. She’s a Republican. She was endorsed by the NRA. She was just elected as a state legislator in West Virginia. And she’s an 18 year old college freshman who ran her campaign out of her dorm room."

Even better, South Carolina voters have elected tea party favorite, and the first black senator from a southern state since the Reconstruction era, Tim Scott.

Not to mention the fact Mia Love won this time.

So all this kind of kills that "party of angry old white men" schtick. What will the party of name-callers use for an insult now, I wonder. [huh]

I guess your definition of young and pretty is very different than mine - I would consider both to be pretty average, not pretty.

They are far below bootlegga's standards. 2/10 would not bang.

Based entirely on what I've read here, this seems almost like an "orange crush" kind of situation. Cna the GOP hang on to these gains?

Nah, I'd say those two are in the 5-6 category...average. And if I was horny, drunk and 21, yeah why not.

I agree that there are pretty female Republicans (Sarah Palin is one of them), but these two are far below her looks (I'd say Palin is an 8 or so, but her score drops because of her below average intelligence and sanity).

Probably through the next election, at least in Congress. It's unlikely the GOP will win the presidency in 2016 and judging from last night's voter demographics, the same scary future holds true for the GOP: that their base in increasingly old and white. In other words, the FOX News demographic.

I don't know man. If this is what you're used to, can you really afford to be fussy?

Yeah, there may be some Republican women who are prettier on the surface, but after spewing the hatred and garbage so many of them are wont to do, they are collectively as attractive as Stalin or Mao.

Basically, your 'pretty' Republican ladies are proof of the adage that beauty is only skin deep. :P
