DanSC DanSC:
John Walsh eventually exits in shame and the Democrats Sarah-Palin it by nominating state representative Amanda Curtis, known for being young, a woman, and not much else.
Unsurprisingly, the Republican Steve Daines won in a landslide.
Too bad, so sad little Demmies.
On the other side, the Republicans had some luck electing pretty, young women, or if you prefer "Sarah Palining" it.
Republican Elise Stefanik has become the youngest woman elected to Congress in history, winning her race against Aaron Woolf in New York’s 21st open district 56-32, ABC News projects.
She’s the first Republican to win the district, which had been held by Democratic Rep. Bill Owens since 1993."http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/u-s-midterm-election-republicans-roll-to-senate-victory-1.2823632
Also there's this smiling little babe.
"She is Saira Blair. She’s a Republican. She was endorsed by the NRA. She was just elected as a state legislator in West Virginia. And she’s an 18 year old college freshman who ran her campaign out of her dorm room."
Even better, South Carolina voters have elected tea party favorite, and the first black senator from a southern state since the Reconstruction era, Tim Scott.
Not to mention the fact Mia Love won this time.

So all this kind of kills that "party of angry old white men" schtick. What will the party of name-callers use for an insult now, I wonder.
