Run this past Zipperfish or anyone who's been over there. Most criminal charges over there are all about extorting bribes and not at all about justice. As far as the rapes go, if the women were unescorted by male relatives then maybe in Kabul the attack is offensive but outside of Kabul most people would shrug indifferently and say the women were asking for it.
