Don't worry, I'm sure as soon as these guys' testicles drop they will see the errors of their ways and start a Scotch collection. Then they can be called men.

I hope that they find teams that can actually win something, once in a while, though.

They might just trade "My Little Pony" for "My Little Mega-millionaire Losers".

Suicide is the next stop.

If I ever have kids of my own, there will be no TV and they'll be homeschooled.

Marry a woman who can spell well.

Just marry a teacher, they're always at home anyways. Might as well do something productive. :P

Tell me about it. We had an anime festival in Sacramento this past summer and all you could see in one part of town were revolting freaks like this:

"As a man, you think to yourself: 'What am I doing with my life?'" said fan Alex Atley. "As I kept on watching itmy heart, so to speak, became lighter and softer and ever since then I cannot be happier."

That is not a guy. Or else, I'm gay. May not be quite legal though. Heck what do I know--I'm hitting 50 in a few years. TAnyone under 24 looks like a teenager to me.

The cuteness of the cosplay girls isn't enough to minimize the stupidity of the entire genre.

Bronies are strange, but have nothing on furries.

Anime is becoming more popular as time goes on. And with popularity comes fans.
Fandom is just another modern version of pre civilization non family group loyalty.

For the record I'd rather be forced to interact in a friendly manner with an Otaku or a Bronie than a Hipster.

We never liked the little ponies but it's nice that someone does. I think a Star Trek convention would be fun to people watch at. :D

Public_Domain Public_Domain:
I've seen virtually every episode of the show on Netflix, held captive because the children maintain strict draconian rule over the remote and living room premises at all hours between 7AM-8PM...

The show isn't really that great. The animation is admittedly decent, compared to most of the nonsense these children watch (old Spiderman episodes, Magic School Bus, Wonder Pets, Toupee & Benoo, A Bunch of Munsch, etc) but really, it's just flashing colours and blinking lights. Some parts have made me laugh before. But, really, I find Spongebob to be a bit more appropriate for an adult male to be a fan of than freaking My Little Pony. At least Spongebob hides a large number of teen/adult jokes in its storylines. You can excuse being a fan of Spongebob by saying something like "Dude, if you smoke enough weed, you can practically taste the social satire", but with My Little Pony? I don't understand it, paste the weird group it has spawned. It's a nerd thing, I suppose. Men, showing they are weird and nerdy, looking to find other people who are nerdy, finding a common ridiculous ground to show their vulnerable nerdiness. Or... pedophiles. I don't know.

If I ever have kids of my own, there will be no TV and they'll be homeschooled. I don't like that a 3 year old can not only comprehend the remote, but use it very well. Reminds me of when I was 7 and couldn't figure out the VCR.

How dare you insult Magic School Bus. I'd still watch that shit.
