Xort Xort:
I'm not sure I get the outrage here.

People asking for a new store to be opened closer to where they spend a lot of their time. While a new location would take some of the older location's business, most likely overall business would increase due to more people buying due to the shorter transit time.

What's with all the hate for the people asking for another store?

I doubt I could spend more than 13 min driving from one TH location to another in most cities. In a place where most people walk that seems like a reasonable suggestion. If you look at the map you can see that the current two locations are something like 250m apart. If 1km is an accepted distance to walk then logicaly one of the current locations should close.

Also no one cares about facebook likes.

I like that you ignored 'entitled' and 'forced to walk' in your post.

Im actually with you on this, it is pretty shitty that the students have no food or refreshments within a 10-minute walk. Weve all been in that position before and it sucks. You dont always have time to go out on a trek, add in round-trip travel time, time spent in line, etc and youre looking at 30 minutes just to get something to eat or drink.

Try going in the middle of winter to Timmies in my Canadian home of Yellowknife. I did it twice in a phase 2 blow. I don't mind at all walking from Old town where my house is located. sounds like a bunch of lazy dopes on rope whimpering.

Were you doing it with only 15 minutes between classes? Was it your only option for any type of food or drink that day?

According to the comments on the article, there is a McDonalds down the street. They sell coffee.

Also, they could ask the school to put in a coin operated coffee machine?

Ah, didn't catch that. McDonalds coffee is actually pretty good now, definitely better than Timmies. Also TH has shitty beverage selection in general.
