Oh. I initially thought the worms were just a side treat to go along with the roaches. Water would really have helped. Typical eating contests (hot dogs and hamburgers) do allow washing down and/or dunking with water.

They serve tiny freshwater shrimp here as a snack. They are usually deep fried, shell and all and served with red peppers. had some...once....that's as close as I ever want to come to eating bugs, because that's what it was like to me, eating the shells and legs.
