We'll create a mini blackhole that'll suck all the CO2 out of our atmosphere and consume all our waste, whilst generating a clean source of energy that has an infinite supply....and 5 minutes after the scientists announce this, the containment field will collapse and we'll all get sucked into it forever. Either that or it causes a rift in the Old Ones prison and in the ensuing chaos old Nyarlathotep comes crawling out looking for his bros.

I wonder what it's impact is on global warming. Seems to take a lot of electricity to run it.

Well aren't we Mr. Grumpypants.

Why not, we already have Azathoth the gibbering idiot god here already.

tor fans
the rest of the clips are there too for the entire movie...corny/cheesy, but a classic horror movie. This is the director's release from '86

From Beyond was awesome. I downloaded those Blackwood stopries and haven't even rea them. Forgot all about it until this very moment. I think I'll read one tonight.

I was writing a Cthulhu story set in 1970s East Germany, but it ended up being a non-supernatural comedy. The Stasi were just too funny to take seriously. Unless you were unlucky to actually have to live there of course. Then, not so funny.

I wear my Miskatonic U sweatshirts, but only a few foreigners get them. One is the Antarctic Expedition and the other is the Department of Metaphysics. No one so far has gotten my Innsmouth High Swim Team or my Esoteric Order of Dagon Innsmouth Chapter hoodies. All Christmas presents from the wife....who can't stand anything written by Lovecraft.

Nor mine. I don't know if I've ever met a woman who liked Lovecraft actually. Then again, Lovecraft wasn't too good on strong female characters.

Love the "Antarctic Expedition" one.

still annoyed Del Toro walked out on 'At the Mountains of Madness' production. All over turning it from an R rating he wanted, to a M/PG that the studio wanted.

I wonder what effect the movie industry has on global warming. They seem to use a lot of resources.
