Too easy to take moderation and wield it as a personal weapon.

We are all adults here and one would hope we behave as such, unfortunately this is not the case as has been shown too many times lately. If you can't get your point across in a civil manner in the forums then do the rest of us a favor and continue your discussion in private using personal messaging.

I would agree that the abundance of swearing needs to be curtailed yet where should we draw the line on offensive words being punished.

People have an ignore list. I used it, and ignoring one user for me, has made CKA much more pleasant.

Thanks...but I don't post in 'virtually every thread'. A couple posts a day in various topics. A little too much of an exaggeration there, Martin.

Noting where a story comes from is something I learned from the likes of Bart and Fiddle. The source and its bias is part of the conversation, not a complaint.

On Trump, hate is far too strong of a word as I don't hate any politician. It's not worth the effort. Trump is terrible at his job, and while he's had some good ideas (which I have noted here) he doesn't have the leadership ability to get things done.
