I saw this wild beast after I threw out some peanuts for the squirrels.....

You must have used a telephoto lens because I don't think you're brave enough to get that close to such a fearsome creature!

It was my 24-105 at 105 and cropped in well close. Chipmunks are nasty, like baby-seal nasty. Big fuck-off fangs.....and they go straight for the throat.

I'd heard that there were turtles in this pond in the park but this was the first time I'd ever seen one. A few people who walked by while this fella was taking in some sun all remarked that they had never seen one either. I actually watched him climb out of the water as I was walking up to this area and from a distance I couldn't tell wtf it was at first, it was so unexpected. Glad that I got a shot of him (or her).
