There is no forum dedicated strictly to MLB, so here it sits in the Sports forum.
A really rather disappointing 4-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians tonight. At least the guys kept it interesting right to the very end, and Encarnacion kept his hitting streak alive, now at 26! The Jays will get a chance to tie the series tomorrow night when they play game 2 of the 3 game series.

I caught the last two innings after work today. Yeah, too bad.
It's weird. I generally don't pay any attention to MLB at all, with the exception of minor interest when it comes to World Series time. I'm finding myself getting into watching Jays games at the local pub in the last few weeks. I mostly miss some games or at least the first few (or more) innings but have become interested in this roll the Jays are on.

Hence the title of the thread..... Please don't hurt yourself when you jump off the wagon when the run is over......

Friggin Boston made it about as stressful as they could tonight, but still picking up the win over the Yankees.
The Jays enter Sept. 1.5 games up.

The Indians are rising to the occaion, something that I think the Jays needed, it was starting to be to easy.

What a great game thrown by R.A. Dickey, 92 pitches in 9 innings for a 5-1 win by the Jays. It's too bad EE's hitting streak had to end at 26 Tuesday night, but as things work out he would has ended it tonight....the Jays take this series 2-1 and after a days rest they will start a 3 game at home series against the Baltimore Orioles.

The next series against the O's will be interesting, the last time they met in Toronto it turned into a bean ball fest with suspensions. Jays don't have an easy series the rest of the way and they always have trouble with TB
So I guess they'll just have to go out and kick the yankee's ass 7 more times.

Yeah, it wasn't pretty out there tonight. Seemed like the only thing being hit at times were Red Bird batters. Uncharacteristic misses by the defense and pretty righteous pitching by Jimenez. That sure was a pretty first base by Tulowitzki though.

Last several years, I couldn't give away my tickets when I couldn't use 'em. Now I get 10 texts and 20 emails a day looking for 'em.

The Dome looks pretty impressive with the roof open and 46000 fans doing a standing ovation. It's the place I'd want to be on a Saturday afternoon.
