Toronto 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games

Image

Many people in Toronto are now embracing the idea of hosting the Pan Am Games despite logistical concerns leading up to the international party... especially the HOV lanes

A little. I'm not a big sports person, but yea, I watched a little 7 & 7 Rugby, and we did kick asses and took names.

Wished I could have seen a couple of those rugger games. I think the rugby women are incredibly hot. And Emily Batty is smokin'!!!! Synchronized swimming--well, it's good for a chuckle. But I wouldn't call it a sport.

GO CANADA.

Too bad the Pan Am success only translates into a couple of bronzes at the summer olympics.

I drove through Toronto last week and thought it pretty great that I had the far left lane on the 401 all to myself. Finally noticed a sign about multi-passenger designation after 5-6 kms.

This incident just burns my ass the way it's been reported

We got Canada playing Venezuela for the Fastball Gold medal, Canada up 2-1. The Canadian pitcher fans the last Venezuelan batter and as the Canadian catch stands to run out to the pitcher to celebrate the win, the greasy Venezuelan batter sticks his foot and trips the catcher and then drops and turtles like a soccer player, man our catcher hit the ground hard, but this is how it was reported.

$1:
"We wanted to bring a swagger back to Canada and I think we’ve done that," Canada coach John Stuart said, adding it was particularly satisfying to win gold on home soil.

"It’s history. It’s never been done before. That’s something these guys can be very proud of," he said.

After Canada completed the final out, Venezuelan players weren’t happy about how the Canadians were celebrating and tempers briefly flared.

Don't want to offend our guest prehaps.

Nothing new with South Americans or Europeans. The first thing they are taught is how to dive and thrash around like they've been gut-shot.

Well done Team Canada.
