Here's a Masters story from Thursday. A friend of mine is at the Masters. He's a great guy and lots of fun. So yesterday he gets himself behind the ropes at the practice area. He was looking around at all the players bags where he noticed that one of the players (Ian Poulter ?) doesn't have a sponsor name on his bag. He's a **** distributor and figured there was an opportunity here. He walked over to him and asked if he want to put a **** sticker on his bag, because he's pay him $1,500 to do it. The player looks at him like he had two heads and said to him "Who the hell are you and how did you get in here?" He was then escorted out of the area and back with the regular people. Only this guy could pull that one off.

I wanna have a beer with THAT guy.....

Wil you'd love it, he's got a number of foot in mouth stories. He was in a hotel whirlpool/hot tub chatting to a few guys about hockey. Think it was Calgary actually....anyway they were talking about and going to the game. He asked the guys if they were going and where they were sitting. The reply was "I'll be on the bench for most of it" and the other guy said "I'll be in the press box" .........it was Wade Belak and another player from the team.

Here's a few picture that I took from the 2006 Masters. It just of the Augusta airport and the planes. This is when we landed. Most of the small jets are the players which went on for ever!! It'll be obvious the one I was on.

Oh....and for the Habs fan here...........it's the same one they use to travel in. All first class seats........but there was only 30 of us on a Airbus 320.

I've had my runins with sports people but man you two have had more contact then me. I've been in the same bar or what ever with guys from the Mavrics (NBA), family friend (brothers friend mostly) playing in MLB but sotries of us as kids and stuff like that. Though I've been around Sandra Bullock when she was out grocery shopping before at 3am.

My best story is that I did a one night job at body guarding Terry Bradshaw at a speaking engagement he did. We spoke briefly to each other but I mostly dealt with HIS people who were all very very cool and let me take the lead when needed. TB is such a nice man he would stop and shake every persons hand who came up to him but was so freaking lost on how to get from one place to another. I was at the back of the group hearing his people go Terry turn right... TERRY TURN RIGHT. I would pipe up in a military type command MR. Bradshaw turn right and bang he would. His people by the end were just letting me order his movements around like I had been doing it for years. Military Command Voice comes in handy sometimes in my line of work

Well I guess you don't want to hear what it was like to be in Jacques Villeneuve's private party at New Town with Stalone, Cheryl Crow, Armand Assante, Letterman, Portia Delarosi and a bunch of other F1 drivers and crew. I can't remember the rest of them......

No don't tell me, my roommate, fiance and I all love watching F1 and we talk about winning the lottery and doing trips to F1 races. Man I bet that was so cool.
