Hi,
Ok here I am.Now let's talk about Hockey
Do you really think that there should be so much money, meaning paychecks, put into a sport?
I know what you will say, that you have to pay for the best.
But if a kid who wants to play the sport so bad would play even if there was not such a big pay.And where does it end and who is paying for it?
Really now, Ron McLean has set the standard for future broadcasters. He told them what he wanted,he never got it, so he went public. Smart guy, he knew hockey was right around the corner and the public was fired up to see it ( and him ). I still can't see why so many people rallied around this guy. It is a job that he chose to do. He was making good money before ( and now making more ) But does this really show good values to the younger kids growing up? They are already brainwashed by enormous salaries payed to the players, now the broadcasters are starting. If Ron wanted the big pay maybe he should have gone into the rink instead of the nice warm broadcast booth.
The last time I looked, if you did'nt like your pay you went to the boss for a raise not the public. And if you did'nt get it, then you found another job.
