How come there's no forum for lacrosse? I thought Canada invented it.

Lacrosse was played by Native Americans throughout North America for centuries before Canada existed, so no, it wasn't invented by "Canada".

It is our national sport. I watch our local Junior Shamrocks all the time. I like the juniors better because it seems to have more spunk to it. The plays are faster and the fighting is more interesting as a lot of these kids come out of nowhere with something to prove.

I think there should be a forum for it too...I played both field and box Lacrosse for about 15 years...it's an amazing game....and the hits are awesome....

lacrosse is north america's most true game. best game in the world, too, if ya' ask me. in my humble opinion. on the awesome scale of one to ten, lacrosse is somewhere in the high four hundreds.

Will there be enough lacross threads to warrent its own forum though? There is nothing stoppping anyone from creating topics about lacrosse in the main sports forum.

I will consider it, but I don't really see enough interest at this point.

Great game, Lacrosse. Watched when the Ravens played in Vancouver.
I first started playing it this year as a way to get in shape and to drink more beer. Great game for those who can't skate worth a shiite.
My son played it at 5 years old but hated team sports.

Lacrosse is alot of fun. I think I'll look for an after work league.
