Wells doesn't seem to make a massive difference as they went on that huge run in May with him largely out of the lineup.
Having said that, their starting pitching is still in trouble and they still lack that massive cleanup batter. Sorry, unless a lot of stuff falls into place - and that includes implosions from other teams - this Jay season was one of lost opportunities.
Wells doesn't make a massive difference

The guy bats like .350 thats better then alot of the guys on the team and i'm sure he has the most home runs and i'm also sure that he is a good fast base runner.
No, he doesn't. He's batting only 280 something with 9 homeruns!!! That's it, superstar. And again, if he's so instrumental, why did the Jays do so well without him? He's a prototypical No. 3 hitter, that's it.

Starting pitching in trouble wow do you even watch the jays seriously. They have amazing starting pitchers just the pitchers just dont get enough run support for instince Roy Halladay lets 2 hits the other day i guess that doesnt meet your standards. Also Jesse Listche im pretty sure he can throw the ball good and has a decent record. A.J Burnette winyesterday over the yankees alot of his losses have been because of lack of run support. The Jays have one of the best starting rotations for pitching
Do I watch the Jays? Please, you don't know squat about the Leafs or the Jays and just because you kick ass at the THE SHOW in your mom's basement doesn't mean it translates to squat. Halladay is great, McGowan is where, right now, and how about Marcum? That's 2 front line starters out and Litsch hasn't been good since the middle of June. Anything else? Oh yeah, Burnett. Great game, crap game and now he's on the trading block. As I said before, this pitching staff is big trouble after the break unless they get healthy and consistent again.
Come back when you've got a clue.
