I watch the occasional game of college ball, as they still play a passing game. If I want to watch a running game I'll watch rugby, which is definitely more exciting.

Being the rabid football fan that I am, I watch all three major leagues. CFL, NFL, NCAA. I used to also follow the World League (later called NFL Europa), and occasionally keep up to date on a couple teams in the GFL (German Football League). The only football I don't watch is the Arena League, because it's crap.

Over paid prima donnas about sums it up as far as I'm concerned (the same can be said about the NBA) although it is a great source for import players for the CFL. As for rugby, too much time spent in the scrum, or trying to form it up. College ball, the holiday's bowl games, is always a good way to spend time while waiting for puck drop for the World Junior Hockey Championships or the Spengler Cup.

My beef is I don't get why they call it football. They don't use their feet except for running. Change the name to pigskin and give football back to the soccer players.

I tried watching a game of lets toss the oval shaped bladder around once. Couldn't take it. Played for, 10 secs then someone fell down then an hour of people roaming around the field, played for 10 secs more, rinse and repeat until utter boredom followed by death
