Anyone watch the GSP/Hughes fight last night? Spectacular win on the part of GSP... clearly owned the cocky, over confident Hughes, and showed him how it's done. Stuffed him, superman punched him, and kicked him in the head for good measure. Easily, the fight of the year.

No doubt... One of the more exciting and memorable fights in the 13 years of UFC. The last time I was out of my chair and going nuts was when Oleg Taktarov choked out Tank Abbott back in the old days... classic UFC fight.

I must say that GSP has all that a fighter needs...he has the skills...10 years of Kyokushin Kai Full Contact Karate and many years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will do that...as well as a trully humble attitude...he makes me proud to be Canadian! He was at an event we held here in Halifax called ECC. He went into the ring and watched as they showed the GSP Hughes fight on the big screen and told all of us that when he fights in the states agains americans that its all of us that keeps him goin...he got a standing ovation.

Lemme guess...you're american right? LOL...just accept it...he kicked ass and you have to swallow it like the jagged lil pill it is. He fell for the oldest Kyokushin trick in the book...a beginner mistake...GSP faked a leg kick and went for the head...that is taught to white belts in the beginning of their training!
