After going on the net and finding many artices on how Aemricans still believe we suck at hockey simply because we havent won gold in 50 years have to wake up and smell the silver!
These guys have to realize, they were AMETURES playing in the olympics then! The reason why we never won was because most of our young players were too busy dominating the NHL and the Canada Cups and the WJHC! we won almost all of them! You see, during the 1988 olympics when we lost in the quarter finals to the Soviets, we won the world junior hockey championship that year AND the Canada Cup the year before! In fact, Canada's best international era took place over the course of 20 years. That 20 years was during the olympics in which we never got gold!

Also keep in mind, that the old Soviet Army teams. Back in the day, when Canada would face the Soviets, the Soviet players were for all intentens and purposes, pro players but considered amateurs. That would be the equivalent of putting the Montreal Canadiens against the local Junior A or Junior B team. And Canada still played hard and played well against them.

I like it when Americans whine and complain. It just solidifes my feelings of disgust towards them.
I think I have a nice picture of Brett Hull hanging his head, wearing his silver medal, and holding his yellow flowers. Yeah ... that's right ... FUCK YOU BRETT HULL!!
But I also have an image of the Russian team accepting their bronze medals as if they were gold ones. Good sportsmanship. Gotta respect that.
Yep, and also, I had an discussion with some Swedes after the Olympics about which international team had the most championship titles, some argued Sweden, some argued Russia, some argued Finland and a few argued Czech. I argued Canada, and I was right.
You can search the internet, and I am 100% certain that Canada holds the most gold medals in Olympic hockey since the beginning. So USA can shove that up their ass.
Canada needs to start breeding more hockey players tho.
I want to have 6 boys. Swedish blood, Russian blood, and Canadian blood. Woohooo!! I can start a mini team.

A politician calling Bush a "moron" is newsworthy. Hull calling a whole nation of hockey fans "morons" idiots isn't. Why you ask? Because making false accusations doesn't draw the same type of attention as wouldan honest politician.

No no ... LOL. I am part russian. Part irish. Part Scottish and all Canadian.
But since I live in Sweden, I figure I'll mate with a Swede.
So then it will be russian, irish, scottish, canadian blood ... mixed with swedish blood .... does that not sound like a fierce combination?
Then I will ship my six baby boys to Canada to be fitted for baby skates...then they will train here until 14, then move back to Canada for OHL training.... then to the NHL with 'em!
And if they don't want to... too bad. I said so! LOL just jokin.

Ok...that makes much more sense.
Have you ever seen the movie "Twins"? And how Arnold and Danny Devito's characters were conceived as part of a (as Devito's character called it) "milkshake". That what I thought you meant. LOL!
My bad.

Malice Malice: Damb it sucks not being swedish.
They used to have these commercial down heer for a place called the Burlington Coat Factory, where the tagline was "Worth the Drive to Acton".
Some may argue the trip to Sweden might be worthwhile.
