I love watching F1. Does anyone else watch it? If so, whats your team? The first two race this season (Australia, Malaysia) were shown late at night, 2:30am et saturday. Crappy thing is that I'm at work during this time. But my co-worker puts the satellite channel to SPEED so I still get to watch the qualifiers and the race while I'm at work. I just make sure that most of my work is done by that time.
I like the new rules F1 has for the qualifying. There are 3 qualifying sessions. Each 15mins. long.
First session, all cars run. At the end, the six slowest cars will occupy the six last positions (17-22).
Second session, the 16 remaining cars run. At the end, the six slowest occupy positions 11-16.
Third session, the remaining top 10 cars take on full fuel tanks and race like crazy. At the end, the top 10 cars occupy positions 1-10 based on their times. F1 calls this "knockout" qualifying. I love it, it makes the qualifiers more exciting to watch.
