Hey WRG, Is 'Bossman still looking for a decent priced camper? If so I have a line on one for him. He can PM me for the particulars. [B-o]

Given that kind of flexibility combined with a quality bodonkadonk like that I'd much rather be kissing her ass "hello".

dino_bobba_renno dino_bobba_renno:
Not anouther end of the world. How many are we up to now?

Here's a thought, maybe the Aztec only did their calander upto 2012 becaue there was Tlachtli game on that night or something and they just never got around to coming back and finishing it. It's not like they put "THE END OF THE WORLD" at the end of their calander or anything.

Agreed, they just stopped their calander at that date, they didn't say why. Only people's assumptions think it's because the world ends then.

Maybe they figured a few thousand years was long enough to calculate.... sorta like how most of today's calanders start on January and end December 31'st..... Oh noes!! based on my calander here, the world's going to end in 5 months!!!!

The whole concept of the sun eventually expanding and dying out, thus destroying Earth and a few other planets is kinda a given, so they're not really stating anything new.... every sun eventually does this.

Of course if we don't kill ourselves by then, I'm sure we would have either figured out how to colonize another planet or regenerate the sun for another few billion years.

I think you guys are looking for the Maya calender (and its alleged prophecy of 2012), not Aztecs. The latter refashioned the Mesoamerican Long Calender from the Maya.

Nah. I'm an excellent road tripper. I don't mind that trek, and after giving the final nod last evening, Q started burning CD's for the trip!
Besides - the way he and I travel, it could take 4 or 5 hours to do the 2 hour trek because we'll have to stop and see everything, so there's no point asking "How much longer?" with us. It'll be fantastic.

We'll be outside. Can't fish from the tent!

Welcome to the club.

My and my GF traveled up the Blue Ridge Parkway a few years back.
I drove all day and only managed 240 kilometers.
The next day, after telling my GF that we had to "up" the pace, we drove 260 k.
