Between a policy that creates crazy extremists who do acts that barely get news attention and a policy that creates crazy extremists who nearly burn down entire suburbs... I think I'll pick the former. :P

It's not like closing borders is an option anyway. Other than the moral objections attached to it, it'd imply dealing with a massive demographic crash in no time.

Yeah, and the demographic crash will only come later, so mass-immigration won't change much in the end. But hey, I'v already said why I don't vote PQ/BQ.

The demographic crash will happen anyway, that we agree on. But it'll be less extreme and, yes, it will happen later, giving us more time to prepare.

Yes, exactly. To prepare. Increase formation in areas where there will be massive retirement. Make pro-late retirement campaigns or pro-part time jobs for retirees. That kind of stuff.
