Saskatchewanistan. A landlocked country with no significance on the world stage other than being crossroads.

That'd be funny.

They could make Khandahar the capital too. It's just down the road from Elfros.

Don't laugh, Bart...sometimes you have to drive up and down the Yellowhead in search of beer and food. Khandahar used to (I'm not sure if they still do) have a great steak house that served the best onions I've ever tasted. They marinated the onions in some kind of sugar and vinegar thing.

My great grandmother lived in Elfros. So you'd buy beer in Elfros, head to Khandahar for a steak and some of those onions, then take the gravel south back to the farm...drinking beer for the whole 45 minutes or so. This is back before drinking and driving was socially unacceptable. In fact it was pretty much expected. I'm old, what can I say?

When you got back to the farm you had to pretend you hadn't been drinking beer and the adults would do their part by pretending they didn't know you'd been drinking beer. Everybody knew what, "Oh we stopped in Khandahar for a steak," really meant though.

I think Saskatchewan should come join America if they separate.

With the new border regulations in effect, its going to be a bit more of a hassle crossing the border, and frankly, I'd rather not be bothered.

Then, we can merge it with North Dakota. We can call it North Saskadoka.

The exodus of Saskatchewanians would increase, not decrease which is what the gov is trying to do.

The Quebec separatist movement is to blame for every single separatist movement in the country. the Saskatchewan separatist (all 4 people) should pack up and move to quebec. that way, they're all in the same area at least

Yes have been to Wakaw , and my cousin lives in N Battleford and Prince Albert. :D Just reading this thread now and Saskatchewan could easily make it on its own. Has everything it needs to make an awesome country with awesome people. The people who were born there and wanted to be apart of the New Country of Saskatchewan may want to live there again. I know many...
