Though some people would like to make English - or French - a "second- class status", I think as a francophone there's bigotory both sides of the coin. I've been treated second class by both french and english. If I spoke french I was against english. If I spoke english I was against the french. Then there's the french who thought I just wasn't french enough or the english who thought the same.
As the quote we see on the first page of CKA states "Let us be French, let us be English, but most importantly let us be Canadian! - John A. Macdonald" I think we must be Canadian. It doesn't matter what I speak, I am Canadian and proud of my country.

Just ask Sir John A. Macdonald what he thinks of PET. I'll bet you diner at la Belle Province he'd say "I'd kick that little guy’s ass if I ever met him" Now both are dead so we'll never know.
50 years from now there will be enough Chinese in Canada to do what Quebec did to us, Better brush up on your Mandarin.

But we won the war didn't we? The Messenians were in their land before the Spartans, but that did not stop the Spartans from taking them over did it?

Actually the Assiniboine were first, then came the French, but they learned to speak micheif after marring Cree wives, besides Napolean gave this land to Jefferson, then Maddison gave it to the British to avoid surrveying the watersheds. Either way there were imagrants to Canada from around 10 countries in the homestead era between 1880 and 1928 people needed a common langueage and they choose the English tounge , and French (acctully international) System of Weights and Measures.

hey guess what? I'm part Inca from South America. Wanna know why we ened up down there? Cause we took a long hard look at North America and decided it was too cold, boring, and lacked spice of life. So naturally, we went south.
My ancestors were here before all of you and decided it sucked and therefore moved on.
