These damn protesters think that a boycott of Canadian fish is working and is hurting our economy. Right.

They don't want to hurt our economy. They want to make the hunt unprofitable by boycotting seafoods more than the profit (~16M$) the fishers make from it. So they think that seeing that it's not worth it, we will stop the hunt. They think it's simple as A - B = negative. What they don't take into account is all the other factors. But hey, since when do the wrong informed activists think more than a beach ball ?.
