Oh, come on. It was a joke. You'll need some thick skin when I get the garden hose over that wall. [B-o]

what? The Berlin Wall is in Quebec?

No, they're proposing that they build a wall around Quebec. I'm all for using federal tax dollars for that project, provided the walls are water-tight.

You would lost me Lemmy :(

Think a bit... Water-tight wall 100% the way around the place and lots and lots of rain...

I think that is what he was thinking :)

I really have to laugh at his comments about the US support of Quebec. Most Americans (especially this far south) probably couldn't pick Quebec out on a map, much less give a crap. They would probably also tell Quebec that they tried something similar in 1861 and it didn't work out so well.

A unified Canada is the only Canada that I want. Whining and griping about somthing that happened that long ago is pointless. Shut up, pull your panties up, and contribute to the country instead of constantly demanding for more.

All US agreements have been signed with Canada, not each individual provence. They (Quebec) would have to renegotiate everything.

sarcasm on

Wow, I never knew that Quebec as a "nation" was physically separated and represented a massive arms buildup between two conflicting ideologies and systems of governance and that Quebec City itself was partitioned along those very same lines. I was also unaware that this took place between the world's two most powerful entities and lasted from the end of WWII until the 90's.

sacrasm off
