Thanks for sharing those Brenda and to those above who shared photos of the torch relay.

I'm soooo mixed on how I feel about all this but when the torch passes by my workplace (as rumor has it, it will) I'll have my camera ready and I'll be sure to add my contribution to this thread. It is for me a likely once-in-a-lifetime experience and since I'll be paying for all this for many years to come I may as well get something out of it!

I also live within walking distance of Richmond's "O-Zone" which will include Holland House (better known as Heineken House!) and will be sure to get some pics of that. According to local papers there will be all kinds of stuff happening (concerts, etc)

Hey Brenda - local paper warns there will be a line-up to get in Heineken House but priority will be given to those with a Dutch passport - can I borrow yours?

It just came through Williams Lake today. My kids were SO excited to see the torch!! Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime thing for us!

Sure as hell, before the week-end, BULLETIN-BULLETIN-BULLETIN-A STATE OF EMERGENCY HAS BEEN DECLARED... and it will be required that ALL citizens put aside non-essential activities and concentrate their efforts 'making snow in any manner possible....pack it in ice chests....deliver to nearest indoor skating rink....where it will be picked up by city employees and delivered to the most affected areas, where....
