Oh, my, I suppose this is one of those medals most people would shy away from or should learn to post - less.
However, seeing it is termed a "medal" award of some sort, then I take that as nice gesture and thank the OP, Mr. Bart for nomination. And not sure if it has been settled, but just popping in to thank the kind posters.
As for all the agreements. I suppose there has not been a long poster in some time.
I hope in the New Year to try to post less words per post, but still post.
Unfortunately my fingers and brain work one way - in whole thoughts and this forum stuff works another way, in mostly fragmented (which can be fine and fun) thoughts. I noted some posters get in on many topics but only post one line. I am not sure how they restrain themselves. I just have to say something a wee more on most things. (sigh)
Sometimes I am away for days, so not sure I will always respond.
Sometimes there are topics that stir me - as I am sure is duly noted.
But when all is said and done I love Canada, the country, the land, her people, our traditions, especially Christmas and God. And while I am on a few other forums, I just discovered this one and it has one of the best structured forum sites I have seen and has have the most interesting topics and much variety of topic choice - and very interesting and diverse people - Mostly Canadian and that is the main charm. And some whom actually have had same experiences or thoughts or obviously live in my generation.
I wish I had found this forum sooner. I was on an American one for some time and it is difficult to find interest in their topics. However, I did learn a lot.
One thing I have discovered is that there are many interesting topics, and I could post on them all, but I find then I would be in all the rooms and be here all day. But believe it or not I read a lot of them and could add to almost all of them. I should ideally stay out of politics and religious ones. Well, for the most part.
