There are two things that are noticable when returning to North America from overseas.
1. A lower population density--evident even in the terminal.
2. Fat people----a rarety elsewhere. Yeah the aussies have some porkers but....
In most of the world the fatties are on the top of the food chain. Eg---Kim Il Sung is likely the only fat guy in North Korea.
