I thought it was a forum too. Rather awkwardly, my own kids use my computer too, so I've had to purge the cache and the history. My provider's server logs now have me visiting that site. I hope to hell there is nothing illegal at that site (like involving underage kids)
The poster who put that link here is a sick bastard. This is a discussion forum and not a place for him to recruit. Does that sort of thing happen often on this site? If so I'm leaving now.
Well it is the internet, like it or not shit like that is going to show up from time to time. If your kid uses the same pc you really should have some filters turned on. The mods cant police the forum 24/7
I'll get my teenage son to install filters right away.
Seriously, though. My kids are far more computer literate than I and at 15 he is hardly ignorant. I care more about what he thinks his old man is up to on the computer. LOL
Who asked the mods to police it 24/7? I flagged it and put a warning in the forum.
A phrase like " ...does that sort of thing happen often on this site? If so I'm leaving now" is a rhetorical If-Then statement that asks if it is a frequent occurence on this site.
Being new here I've not called for anyone's censure before this, but I note the suggestion that it stems from political disagreement appears quickly.
Make no mistake: my complaint is not about a poster's political views it is about posting a porn link with an innocent label "here." I prefer to surf my porn by choice, thank you very much.
My "sactimony" nothwithstanding, I want to know how something like this is handled. If GrainfedPriairie Boy got "jailed" for something, how did it compare to posting explicit porn through a misleadingly (and innocuously) named link, in how the rules are applied here.
I ask purely to better understand the site and its operation and conventions.
