sorry guys but I'm leaving the liberal group, I joined with good intentions because I was torn between the libs and tories but I think my mind is made up now. Sadly the liberal party of Canada just doesn't represent me anymore.
As most of my friends say "I have joined the dark side"

Hey, it's all good. More money and pot for us!
Plus, you're not a crazy Conservative, so it's all good.
I'm just grateful Iggy hasn't joined the Liberal group. He/She might be the first to be kicked out...

I really respect your decision, camerontech, and I truly appreciate your saying so. I know you've been reading long enough to be basing your decision on general attitudes and (hopefully) not on the recent truly unpleasant internecine dissension between the voice of one of our members, who is nonetheless correct to express his views even though they may not be popular among his colleagues). All parties in our country continue to evolve, and should one day you find the policies of the Liberal Party to reflect your own convictions, we will be grateful for your support.

thanks guys.
Most of my friends and family are Liberal or NDP and I was always heavily influenced by them, but when I moved away to go to school a few years back I started to see things in a different way. I still have a lot of liberal left in me but after working in industry and getting a broader look at the canadian political landscape, my opinions have changed a lot in a relatively short time.
uh, so where was I, oh right
*puff*puff* *passes joint*

I really think I can relate.
I'd really love it if you can remain open with us on the forum how your feelings evolve. I always liked your Lib/Con flags and I understood it. I hope you'll keep sharing with us. To my mind YOU represent the typical Canadian - moderately polarized.

It's sad if that's what you think the defenition of a conservative is....thankfully most liberals don't think that way

Liberals are not all the same as Conservatives are not all the same. Maybe there is hope for Canada after all! I think the difference is people like you that can understand that.
Although you have removed the "L" and left the "C" in your box, I hope you will continue to give a intelligent point of view to these forums.

Sorry to see you go, tech. Politely respectable on both sides, I like that. I don't mind the conservatives who don't generalise and such. Same with Liberal.
Well....
*cough*
*kicks you out*
Bye then.
