Dude, caring about the people around you doesn't mean you're not yourself. It's called being a decent member of society.

You shouldn't use 'personal identity' as an excuse to be self centered, though I don't know you to accuse you of this.

its not that i think people are self centered but if you let others rule what you think of yourself you just ruin yourself. you should let yourself be expressed by any means no matter what others say
but thats just me and i am a differnet person who knows i may let others run my feelings.

I don't believe the internet is the right place to ask about being rated as an individual.

I for one do not profess to "Know anyone" let alone call them my "friend" until they have been at my dinner table.

Although it's been about ten years...to me the "net" still isn't quite "Real".
