I think we should have some fun here and have people name the top 10(or less if you can't think of 10)places they would like to live outside of their countries.

I think I'm going to need to give my own question some more thought before I answer it. I think this can be a fun question, I mean who hasn't thought of living in another culture....

This is a good question Johnny..

For me it would be (in no particular order):

Barcelona, Spain (for the soccer and sunshine)
Rio de Janiero, Brazil (for the sunshine and the babes)
Bremen, Germany (a beautiful city)
Rome, Italy (another vibrant urban city)
Manchester, England (Why? just look at my logo)

That's about all I can think of right now.

I have to agree with you on Rio de Janiero....nothing like those brazilian babes.
hmm, others I would have to say would be a cottage in Russia(don't know why, considering the political environment there, but I like the snow, and if you have ever seen some of the cottages there, they look pretty cool)
The Netherlands would be fun, because of certain freedoms.
I know it's in the US, and that's where I live, but I think that Alaska could be a cool place to live.
hmm, I can't think of much other places right now myself...

Well I don't want to leave Canada but if I had to I would then want to live in either of these two countries......

Australia as #1 choice
Japan #2

Mind you there are many more countries that I would love to visit just not live!

Ummm. I'd like to visit all over Canada first. Then go over to the old parts of Europe (Britain, France, Germany). Next tour across Russia. I like Russian history. Have to go to Japan.

DMP, you mentioned Russia...yeah...this made me think that the Trans-Siberian railway would be a cool trip. Moscow to Vladivostok, and then on to China...that would be a cool trip.

I wouldn't mind seeing St. Petersburg also...

Israel is the only place in the world i would want to live. Though i have never been, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are my favorite cities in the world. Israel is the greatest example of freedom in the world today. The land is biblical.

Im planing a trip there for next spring, hoping to get a work visa and stay a while but who knows.
