Instead of the proposed North American Union, why don't we move the Canadian border south to include Florida, skip Texas, include Hawaii in short annex the USA.

This will leave out the drug lords, give the PM the White House and give every former Americans a bottle of Molson when they sign Canadian citizenship papers.

Canadian will become a superpower in one stroke and and the American will sweep away a group of asshole corrupt politicians in the same stroke.

If they voted in Palin as their Gov. and they still have her living there, the US can keep them.... I don't want her screwy ass getting into our politics, our's is bad enough.

And why would any of us want to annex the US? Look at how they're freaking over universal health care of all things?

If they had to live a week in our country with our laws and our way of life, their heads would explode.

Take their guns away or make them have to get training/license for them, and many would hide in their closets, rocking back and forth, crying and sobbing about being defenseless.

Honestly, they wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

And I wouldn't start any plans for invasion until we have a few nukes under our belts as well.

Every now and again someone in Canada runs this idea up the flagpole and I almost always say, "Why not?"

330 million people would suddenly be on Canadian subsidized health care.

Ottawa would take over our national debt.

We'd get the schadenfreude of watching the Mexicans and Quebecers go at it over who is the more racist? The francophones who are intolerant of Spanish speakers or the Spanish speakers who are intolerant of francophones?

About 600 US Indian tribes would get to press land claims against Ottawa.

And I'd finally get a Timmie's in Sacramento.
