Do motorists intentionally run into things in their way, get real, I can understand his point but I'm sure he didn't get the ticket for just riding around an obstacle. At least they have bike lanes, calgary has a good path system but no way I can make it to work and back on a bike.

As was pointed out to him, you don't have to ride in bike lanes. Bikes are considered vehicles, same as any other, and have the same rights except where expressly forbidden, and must keep to the right as far as is safe.

If there was an unobstructed bike lane on that street, why would he not have used it?

Good find Andy. Saskatoon isn't too bad, but there are always a few aholes about who misuse the bikelanes and endanger cyclists.

I agree, unobstructed and when it is obstructed he can ues the right lane in traffic.

He's a chicken. Note how he hit the taxi and rolled into it's rear window, but made sure to fall beside the cop car.

He's a stunt man and used his skills to make a point in a very pointed way. He must have had a bad case of road rash after that.

It's the idiots on bikes and the idiots in cars that are dangerous.
