Just another day in America. That country has gone down the drain and it's not coming back any time soon. Palin, this nutbag, Trump, I don't think this is just some temporary fad.

Well, it is the Texas GOP after all. Now populated by people that make JR Ewing look normal and decent in comparison.
From my limited experience with the BoE here in Texas no matter who wins it's still a big screwed up mess.

Yep. There is no education in Texas and hasn't been any for a long, long time. They ventured down the road to standardized testing decades ago and tied the whole apple cart to its results. So Texas kids don't go to school to learn curriculum, critical thinking nor graduate with anything resembling a contemporary definition of an education. They go to school to master how to succeed on standardized tests. The content of those tests is irrelevant. Actual thinking, comprehension or inquiry is irrelevant. It's the Simpsons but for real.
