Couple of questions, or just food for thought.

The North American Union is the harmonization of laws, currency and trade.

Recently, the new Copyright Laws put forth by the Conservative Gov't is ment to harmonize copyright laws between Canada and the United States.

Our currency is now par with the United States, within a few cents...

Trade, well NAFTA.

Passport and immigration requirements have been harmonized, and now the USA tracks it's citizens as they leave and enter the United States.

Think?? Image

(for all you conspiracy theorist) :D

According the articles, it appears to be true. This was made way before those problems in South America, where everybody thought the US was going to get involved in. Then there is current articles where Bush is threatening Iran, and saying that war with Iran is iminant. Pretty good guess for these people.

Everything Bush has done, and all this stuff that has been going on has never made any sense at all. This wouldn't suprise me in the least, we live in a completly messed up world.

Tracking of individuals going between borders. NO.

In the United States the REAL ID Act was passed, giving way to a national ID card to track US citizens.

In Canada, BC is now offering the Enhanced Driver's Licence (EDL).

But, I'll bet you top dollar within a decade, you'll be able to have a chip implated in your arm to be scanned as you travel between Canada, The United States and Mexico.

...and soon that will be the case again, but with smart cards or Enhanced ID. (Maybe a chip)

Perfect example of harmonization...

I think the NAU is being pushed on Canadians in baby steps, and we can't even see it as the big picture, as it's all these very small laws or changes.
