Homemade, I suspect. Mine is going to be homemade. I'm going to use it for guitar tops, so I don't need anything as wide as a commercially manufactured device.

Dude! Get yourself a decent smoothing plane! It's much quieter, and is much more attractive.

And you can make yourself the smoothing plane, if you really want.

A smoothing plane would be quieter and more attractive, but also not the right tool for making guitar tops. It's got to be sanded.

I just figured it's the way Violins, Cellos etc. are done, makes sense for Guitars.
