The only good thing about October is that it's one month closer to summer.

Apparently my Thanksgiving weekend is going to be a busy one, so I'm looking forward to that!

I love the weather this time of year - cool and dry but still sunny.

I usually put the snow tires on the car and get the Christmas lights up on the highest parts of the house in October.

In a few more weeks I’ll be able to make a huge pile of leaves in the back yard for our son to play in.

Maybe one or two more hikes in the mountains before it gets too cold.

That’s about the extent of our excitement for the month.

Better early than late. The guys in the tire shop get pretty grouchy by mid November.

Halloween is coming! I will be in a priest costume this year. With aluminium foil I should make a huge axe! What else can I do being a priest?
