OnTheIce OnTheIce:
I think you make a lot of assumptions with little to no fact.

Incorrect, as if you watched the interviews on the report I linked and saw, there were first hand witnesses who claimed these things to be true, along with police footage of the rooms and things he had around his home.... I'd suggest watching the video if it becomes available.

$1:
Why? Cause it's easy. He's a weird dude, brilliant, but strange.

Like I said, I always thought he was weird, smart, talented, etc... I even liked a few of his songs.... but up until this report, I figured it was just a bunch of money grubbing families wanting money out of the guy..... but personal friends and police who worked on the cases did present a plausable alternative explination.

$1:
To even assume that all his money was going to pay off families is ludicrous. Sure, the first family he settled with for 20 million, which is a drop in the bucket for a guy worth in excess of a billion.

Keep in mind, Michael was acquitted by a jury 14 times. After they heard all the evidence and testimony, a group of his peers came back guilty on all 14 charges. If the case was so cut and dry, you'd be assures people would lock his crazy ass up for a long time for screwing with these kids.

Michael is an easy target for greedy people. You cannot deny that. Rich people are generally targets, but throw in the fact that Michael loved children and was kinda strange, he was an easy mark for someone looking to make a buck. It's sad but true.

Agreed... and for the longest time, I believed the above as you put it... I summed it up to greedy families using their kids and michael's trust to gain some of his money.

But questions presented still remain and there are some issues with some of the information.

Either way, everybody's entitled to an opinion, and that's just mine.

Yogi Yogi:
So. Paying out 20+ million, (that we know about) in 'hush money' doesn't count for anything eh? If I was accused of doing something that I knew that I was not guilty of doing I would spend everything I own and everything that I could borrow, to defend my name!!!

Celeb or not, as if goes for my principles, if someone accuses me of something I didn't do, serious or not, I'm sure as hell ain't going to hand them over a bunch of money to shut them up.... that's blackmail if you ask me.

I'd drag then through the dirt just as they did me and I wouldn't stop until the truth came out.

Regardless if you pay them off or fight them to the end, as mentioned by another member, once the accusation is made public, your image is already tainted and career damaged.

The fact that the original kid who got this ball rolling in the public scene and who's family was paid off, based on evidence and recorded information, actually described in detail the various characteristics of Jackson's penis, which were later confirmed by a strip down of Jackson in the police station, certainly raises some questions about how he would come to know this information.

^ That was described in the report I provided earlier, but in further information about the other cases:

First accuser testifies against Jackson, describes sexual tickling
http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/05/ctv.j ... index.html

$1:
SANTA MARIA, California (Court TV) -- A man who says he was sexually molested by Michael Jackson as a boy broke down on the witness stand Monday as he described three separate tickling games he engaged in with the King of Pop that he says escalated into unwanted groping and ended in hush money.

"There was money given after every tickle thing," said the 24-year-old witness, the son of Jackson's former personal maid. He described the first incident in 1987 or 1988, at age 7 1/2, culminating with Jackson slipping him a $100 bill and the admonishment: "Don't tell your mom.".......

...... The first alleged incident, according to the witness, was at Jackson's Hollywood condominium, a sparsely furnished place his mother called the "hideout" "because no one knew about it."

"I was sitting on his lap watching TV. I was young and small and thin. My back was to his chest. We were watching cartoons," the witness said. "He started tickling me. I was like, 'cool.' I tickled him back. I'm laughing."

"We somehow got on the floor ... I'm tickling him, he's tickling me, I'm tickling him, he's tickling me. It eventually moved down to my private regions. Around my crotch area."

He told jurors that the entire incident was less than 10 minutes and he was uncertain how it made him feel at such a young age......

He said Jackson did not make contact with his skin that first time, but tickled his genitals through the orange shorts the boy was wearing, which his mother had made for him because they were poor.

The second alleged incident, at age 8 1/2, he said, also occurred at the hideout while wearing shorts and lying on top of a sleeping bag watching cartoons.

"Michael was pretty much behind me. Like, spooning me," the witness said. "Again with the tickling. This time it was longer, but I wasn't laughing as much."

When asked to describe the amount of time the tickling went on, he said they were watching Woody Woodpecker, and it was about one and a half cartoons long.

"Where was your mom?" Zonen asked.

"Probably cleaning," he said with a look of fatigue. "She was always cleaning."

By the time he turned 10 1/2, the witness said, he was victim to Jackson's third and final bold advance in the arcade room at Neverland in 1990.

"I think I was playing Sega Genesis. He started tickling me. We somehow ended up on the couch. We were laying down on the couch in the spooning position again. He was tickling me and I was laughing ... this is much harder than I thought," the witness said as he gripped his water bottle and was given a moment to wipe his eyes.

"I was wearing shorts. He reached for my leg, and he reached up ... into my privates," he continued.

"Did he actually touch your penis or your testicles?" Zonen asked.

"I think option two," the witness replied.

"What were you thinking?" "I should probably go." "How did it end?"

"I don't remember," the witness said. He did remember that he did not receive any hundred-dollar bills from Jackson following that final episode......

Let's also not forget that Jackson also hired for this case the same Lawyer that got Mike Tyson off the hook for assault and rape.

Anywho, just tossing that one out there.
